The musical narrative of Ocean Child, written and composed by Neil Martin, is wrought from the tragic sinking of the RMS Tayleur off Lambay Island on January 21st, 1854.

In this deeply moving performance, a spoken narrative, drawn from contemporaneous newspaper reports and witness accounts, marries with an original score to create an unforgettable evening of storytelling and sensational sounds. Featuring Oscar nominated actor Stephen Rea as narrator, The West Ocean String Quartet, Michelle Mulcahy and Neil Martin himself on cello.
